London haul
Feb. 26th, 2012 03:48 pmGood afternoon!
I just came back from London yesterday. It was much fun and I really liked the city, even though it was quite busy. There were so manythings to see and explore, so it definitely was not the last time I went there. <3
Of course, I could not resist to buy some souvenirs and clothes! :3
Souvenirs:
* At the British Museum, I bought the first volume of B. Potter's Peter Rabbit books and a metal tin with jelly beans and a really cute PeterRabbit design. I could not resist their cuteness! Especially, since I've liked Peter Rabbit since I was a kid.
* Also, we went to the M&M's store, which is really huge and has all kinds of M&M merchandise and M&M colors you could imagine! I bought175gr of purple, dark pink, dark blue light blue and teal M&Ms. I really like those colors, but unfortunately they aren't part of the regularpacks...
* When I saw that they had even more of the coasters that I saw at Heidelberg, I could not resist and bought three new ones, so that I have a set of four now (for my future guests and me :D). [I've had the coffee one before]
* Of course, as Shakespeare fans, we went to the Globe! There I got a maxi postcard of its interior and a Shakespeare/Globe coin <3

Random:
* Well, apart from clothes I bought some random things: A nail polish set with four spring/summer colors by Primark, a hair style "helper"which you can use to volumize certain parts of your hair, a rose-colored pearl bracelet set (I already had a similar one in off-white, so I can combine them now), fake lashes (I always buy new ones, although I still have some pairs...but they were cheap!) and a blush brush.

*Also, I bought a tote bag at Bershka, because I really liked its artsy design, haha.

Clothes:
* I love shorts! So I bought a (toned-down) rose-colored short
[I didn't fix it properly, so the photo looks a bit weird] and
a high-waisted, brown jeans short with rose prints [I love high-waisted cuts, it's more comfortable!]

*A classically-cut dress out of thick, woolen material with sparkly bits. I liked its classic line~

*A light-rose colored skinny jeans and a wide, white shirt with lace details and a longer backside.

* An "I love London" pyjama. It as a long-sleeved top, and wide & comfortable fleece pants <3
When we brought back my friend to her flat in the Netherlands, I did a little bit of shopping in Nijmegen too. At C&A, they had a special offer of-50% off already price-reduced items. So I got cute, plushy earmuffs (I've wanted some before, but usually they were to expensive) for 1,50€ instead of 10€; and a black, woolen Cape, which was 7,50€ instead of 79€! How could I resist such bargains?

When I'm looking at the photos now, I really feel a need to diet. My legs look so chubby :O
