Fabrics~!

So, today I went to Karteris Stoffen in Oosterhoud, Netherlands, to buy some white fabric for my Victorian underskirt (cosplay-related). However, they had special offers on all fall/winter fabrics and new stuff in the rest-fabric box, so I bought lots of stuff I did not plan to buy, haha.

Here's what I got:

Flower band to 'pimp' a short jeans vest I got last year. It's just plain middle- to dark-toned denim, so I want to add a cute, flirty accent.

Photobucket

Fabric for a short, layered skirt. The fabric already had all the layers, so I just have to sew it together, add a waistband and voila- new, short skirt ;)

Photobucket

Strech-lace fabric for another skirt. I'll just gather it to produce ruffles and sew multiple layers on an underskirt, to get a fluffy, cute skirt ;> Because I can't find any of those in the shops! Arg!

Photobucket

A fine-ribbed cord with flower print for a high-waisted skirt. I also got four buttons for the waistband ;>

Photobucket

Extremely soft and fluffy fur/plush from the rest-fabric box <3 I don't know what to do with it, but did I mention that it is fluffy? I don't even know how big the piece is (but it was really cheap) - probably between 50-70cm width?

Photobucket

And a fleece-like fabric from the rest-fabric box. On the photos you can even see my wearing the mint-green nailpolish from the London haul :D

Earrings & Necklace <3

Finally the two items I ordered from kpopplus arrived! <3

I ordered a set of black unicorn earstuds/earrings and a star necklace. I like both of them a lot, although I have to adjust my hairstyle for the earrings, because otherwise they are not visible, haha. But side ponytails seem to be the "in thing" currently anyways.

Aaaand the necklace: (Both sidesof the necklace  look the same)

London haul

Good afternoon!

I just came back from London yesterday. It was much fun and I really liked the city, even though it was quite busy. There were so manythings to see and explore, so it definitely was not the last time I went there. <3

Of course, I could not resist to buy some souvenirs and clothes! :3

Souvenirs:
* At the British Museum, I bought the first volume of B. Potter's Peter Rabbit books and a metal tin with jelly beans and a really cute PeterRabbit design. I could not resist their cuteness! Especially, since I've liked Peter Rabbit since I was a kid.
* Also, we went to the M&M's store, which is really huge and has all kinds of M&M merchandise and M&M colors you could imagine! I bought175gr of purple, dark pink, dark blue light blue and teal M&Ms. I really like those colors, but unfortunately they aren't part of the regularpacks...
* When I saw that they had even more of the coasters that I saw at Heidelberg, I could not resist and bought three new ones, so that I have a set of four now (for my future guests and me :D). [I've had the coffee one before]
* Of course, as Shakespeare fans, we went to the Globe! There I got a maxi postcard of its interior and a Shakespeare/Globe coin <3

Random:
* Well, apart from clothes I bought some random things: A nail polish set with four spring/summer colors by Primark, a hair style "helper"which you can use to volumize certain parts of your hair, a rose-colored pearl bracelet set (I already had a similar one in off-white, so I can combine them now), fake lashes (I always buy new ones, although I still have some pairs...but they were cheap!) and a blush brush.

Photobucket

*Also, I bought a tote bag at Bershka, because I really liked its artsy design, haha.
Photobucket

Clothes:

* I love shorts! So I bought a (toned-down) rose-colored short
[I didn't fix it properly, so the photo looks a bit weird] and
a high-waisted, brown jeans short with rose prints [I love high-waisted cuts, it's more comfortable!]

Photobucket

*A classically-cut dress out of thick, woolen material with sparkly bits. I liked its classic line~

*A light-rose colored skinny jeans and a wide, white shirt with lace details and a longer backside.

Photobucket

* An "I love London" pyjama. It as a long-sleeved top, and wide & comfortable fleece pants <3

Photobucket When we brought back my friend to her flat in the Netherlands, I did a little bit of shopping in Nijmegen too. At C&A, they had a special offer of-50% off already price-reduced items. So I got cute, plushy earmuffs (I've wanted some before, but usually they were to expensive) for 1,50€ instead of 10€; and a black, woolen Cape, which was 7,50€ instead of 79€! How could I resist such bargains?

When I'm looking at the photos now, I really feel a need to diet. My legs look so chubby :O

Mini haul

Yesterday I went shopping at CentrO, a German shopping mall. I did not want to buy too much though, since I am going to London soon, and I wanted to save money for that.

Nevertheless, I bought a cute skirt, because I have been looking for something like that - and it was priced off from €19,95 to 9,95€ ;>

I also bought a set of earrings at Accessorize, which where priced off from €14,95 to only €1! I was planning to wear them with a certain costume, because they are so sparkly and princess-like.

Photobucket

I was also looking for a new bag for London, because the ones with longer straps that I own do not have a zipper...An some are made of fabric, which does not go well with the current, rainy weather. So I talked about it to my mother, who remembered that she had a couple of older bags in the cellar. Aaaand we found this little treasure:

Photobucket

A middle-toned, brown leather bag (genuine leather) :> It has four compartments with zippers (two bigger ones inside, one inside the second big compartment, and one smaller one at the back of the bag), and pretty, checkered lining. I wanted a smart-looking, not too embelished bag for university too, so I was glad when I tried to put in an A4-sized folder and saw that it fit comfortably! Yay for vintage!

(no subject)

The other day, I went to see my ex-dance group's performance, so I dressed up a bit [These days, when I do not have any classes and study at home, I usually wear room wear - haha I'm lazy]

This was my outfit for the evening:

Photobucket

It's a black longshirt with a Primark knit ribbon top, a frilly, layered Ice skirt & Primark belt and random black leggings.

I really wanted to wear my hair curly again, so I styled it like this [beware, my face looks dorky and my eyes look super asymmetrical in this one :/ ]:

I will try to post photos with a better quality in the future, but it was dark outside and the light in this house is not really suitable...

* posts about beauty/ make up products, jewelery, styling, or even decorations/other cute items, depending on whether I liked something in particular

* shopping hauls
